My favorite classes are mindful, slow but strong flows with the goal to reconnect us to the deepest parts of ourselves guided by our own breath. The poses are carefully chosen so that they weave into a supportive net. They can vary from grounding soothing meditations to empowering and core strengthening sequences - whatever I feel like is needed by my students.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of being a yoga teacher for me is to support people in healing themselves. In my opinion every yoga practice should be adapted to the practitioners needs - customized and tailored carefully to the individual according to body type, age, health - plus whatever needs some extra attention in the clients life. Wether you want to achieve a healthier lifestyle, you are an athlete who's goal is to improve your performance, you are struggling with some health issues or you undergo emotional challenges - together we find the best methods with which you will find your balance and increase your well being.
I will take a look at your postural and structural condition and we will have a consultation. With the results I create an individual sequence for the yogi. In our second meeting you will receive a hand out with different suggestions to improve your situation and we will practice the routine together. That is when you will receive hands on adjustments to assure that you know how to practice safely. You will receive a guide to your own home practice which will allow you to reach your goals.

Connect with the healing powers of communal chanting and tap into the magic world of sound. Kirtan -What is it, Why do we chant and How? The word kirtan stems from a Sanskrit root that means “to cut through,” so kirtan is also a practice for cutting through the idea of separation, for connecting to our hearts and connecting to the moment through sound. In this workshop we learn about the indian tradition of chanting. After a short intro we will start with an om bath, sing a some songs together and recite some mantras. Just as we can stretch our bodies with Asana and our breath with Pranayama, we can elongate our capacity to feel and expand our ability to love with bhakti yoga (chanting).

workshop - "the office yogi"
This workshop is especially for people who are sitting for hours in a chair and starring into a screen. With time this can cause a misaligned of the spine, shortens muscles, decreases blood circulation and stress can accumulate. In this workshop we will show you how to work on a good posture, strengthen parts of your body to support you and some asanas which will help you work with different complaints you might be facing after spending too much time in front of a desk. Some of the stretches you can do while sitting in front of the computer and some deeper ones are for your home practice. We will create a sequence which helps with a strained neck, back pain and slouching forward (in other words the trapezius is excessively stretched and pectoralis major shortened) and lower back pain (tight hip flexors, illiapsoas + psoas).
